IFIP Working Group 5.11

Overview

The operation of each WG within IFIP is governed by the statutes and articles of IFIP. In IFIP, an individual cannot become member of a WG by subscribing. All WG members and the Chair of the WG are appointed by the Chair of the corresponding Technical Committee, in our case TC 5. The chair of the WG can appoint a Vice-Chair and a Secretary. Apart from these regulations, every WG is free in the way it organizes itself.

The Executive Board of 5.11, consisting of the Chair, the Vice-Chair and the Secretary, is mainly responsible for the operation of the WG and the ongoing development of strategies and activities. The Advisory Board assists in the development of these strategies. The WG Chair reports to the members of the WG.
